This puzzle appears in "Challenge Your Brain Math & Logic Puzzles" (Dave Tuller & Michael Rios, Puzzle Wright Press).
Puzzle and Goal
An unsolved puzzle consists of a 18x10 rectangular array of dots. Some numbered clues have been placed.
The goal is to create 12 regions of 5 squares each, representing each possible pentomino.
Rules
The solved grid must satisfy the following conditions:
Penotominos do not touch each other, even diagonally.
Each number clue indicates the number of sides of the containing cell that contain a segment.
