This puzzle is similar to tents; it is somewhat the inverse of it. The numbered clues represent lighthouses, and the goal is to place ships that can be seen by the lighthouses (that is, that are in the same rank).
Puzzle and Goal
An unsolved puzzle consists of a square grid, some of which contain numbers.
The goal is to place "boats" in some of the squares to satisfy the clues.
The solved grid must satisfy the following conditions:
Clues indicate the number of boats that appear in the same rank (row or column).
Boats cannot neighbor lighthouses or other boats.
In some puzzles, the number of boats to be placed is specified in the instructions.
