Background

This puzzle originated in Japan, apparently in the 20-aughts.

Puzzle and Goal

An unsolved puzzle consists of a square grid. The cells have been separated to make room for inequality signs. Some cells may have been filled in.
The goal is to fill in all the cells so as to create a Latin Square.

The solved grid must satisfy the following conditions:

Variants

In "Neighbours", neighboring cells are marked as being consecutive, but the order is not given.
Jigoku, or Comparison, contains no number clues, only the greater than signs.
