This puzzle appears to be fairly old, appearing as early as 1874. Richard Osa patented it in Germany in 1893 (hence the name "Dominosa").
Puzzle and Goal
An unsolved puzzle consists of a rectangular grid filled with numbers or pip clusters.
The goal is to create regions to satisfy the grid.
The solved grid must satisfy the following conditions:
Every region will be consist of two cells.
Every domino in an appropriately sized set (usually 0-6 or 0-9) will appear exactly once.
